Last week I was interviewed for this story about an 11 year old girl who was socially transitioned by a Canadian Catholic school without her parents’ knowledge.

Cass mentioned the Dutch Study of 70 patients. 89% of that cohort were exclusively SSA. (Male and female.) Most of the remaining patients were bisexual.
Tavistock stopped collecting stats about sexual orientation in 2014. At that time, about 88% were SSA and mostly girls.
Since the spike of referrals in 2015, there are likely more straight kids medicalizing.
But at my clinic, in 2018-2019, 70% of the youth I assessed were girls and most of them were SSA.
